Prospective secondary school teachers’ knowledge of sampling distribution properties

چکیده

The aim of the work was to assess prospective Spanish secondary school mathematics teachers’ knowledge sampling representativeness and variability. To achieve this goal, a questionnaire with four items taken from our previous research education high students proposed 66 teachers. In each item, participants were asked provide values binomial distribution, varying parameters distribution in item. analysis mean range sample provided by participants, its comparison theoretically normative acceptable suggests good representativeness, except for one item an overestimation variability large number trials distribution. study participants’ arguments serves identify some reasoning biases related results are better than those obtained studies.
